The CHS I and II teams acquitted
themselves quite well at the Championships. The CHS I team finished second
to the CCC team who scored a goal in the last minutes of the game against
CHS I to leapfrog them and claim the trophy. All six games this year were
very close, with all four teams a chance of winning the tournament going
into their last games. As it turned out CHS II won their last game to make
it a two horse race between CCC and CHS I in the final game.
All players from the four sides
played exceptional football with all players in the CHS sides performing
well with 13 from the CHS I and 6 from the CHS II making the final trial of
25 players from which the NSW All Schools team was selected.
