The 2007 NSW Combined High Schools - ERREA Knock Out Football Finals Series

The finalists for this year’s ERREA KO Football series have been decided with the regional champions from around the State being drawn for an intriguing set of fixtures

Many new schools figure in this year’s series, which sees the competition, now down to 16 teams in both the boys and girls divisions after an initial start of over 700 teams in March

The two finalists from the ERREA series will go head to head with the Sports High Schools Champions later in August for a chance to become champions of the most prestigious schools prize in Australian Football

There is no clear favourite in the boys ERREA CUP group but some early results suggest Mitchell High School from Blacktown, Menai High School and St George Senior Campus at Oatley will be hard to beat

The girls ERREA TROPHY finalists may ultimately shape as a rematch between Duval High School from Armidale and Cootamundra High School. These schools have had outstanding results not only on the park but in developing girls football in country areas. Port Hacking and Kingswood High Schools will be out to stop the recent dominance of the country schools
